Sanguisorba obtusa

This graceful perennial, known as Japanese Burnet, forms a tidy mound of finely divided, grey‑green foliage topped with soft‑pink, bottle‑brush flower spikes in summer. Standing about 2–3 ft tall and wide, it brings airy texture and subtle colour to borders and pollinator gardens. A magnet for bees and butterflies, it's both ornamental and wildlife‑friendly. Grown from bare root, it establishes quickly in moist, well‑drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
