Lavender is grown for both its pleasantly scented leaves and its colorful flowers. Plant grows into compact mounds with small gray leaves and lavender-colored flower spikes. Use to perfume soaps, pillows, sachets, bath water, and in flower arrangements. Plant as a low hedge or edging.
