Dahlias

"The dahlia tubers from Florissa are always mangled, broken necks. They are always in poor condition, and I have bought lots in different years. Maybe they are machine harvested. I grow over 100 plants. Most of the time you get 1 shoot from the clump, sometimes nothing. Also had "Leaf Gall" from some clumps which is very bad."

Dead tubers

"Tubers were dried up with no viable eyes. None of the dahlias I received from Wildwood sprouted. Very disappointing. Unfortunately, I likely won't be ordering tubers or bulbs from Wildwood again."

Healthy roots

"The package of dahlia tubers arrived and have produced some v healthy little plants. Now have to wait to see if they survive the slugs and if we can fence off the deer from getting at them before they have a chance to flower. So far so good."
