Rugby is a productive roma with firm, dense flesh that is smooth and soft in texture. They have superb, well-balanced flavour and is delicious for both fresh eating and canning. The pink, heart-shaped fruits grow in clusters of 4-6 and average about 200-220g (7-7.5oz) each. Rugby is suitable for growing in covered greenhouses as well as field production. Resistant to Tomato Mosaic Virus, Leaf Mold, Fusarium Crown & Root Rot and Bacterial Speck. Indeterminate (Vine).
