Hosta - Bobcat
Hosta ‘Bobcat’ is a striking mid-sized shade hosta featuring bold blue-green leaves edged with broad gold margins that gradually lighten to creamy-white as the season progresses. It forms a dense mound approximately 12–14″ (30–35 cm) tall and spreads about 26–30″ (65–75 cm), making it excellent for garden borders or containers. In mid-summer (July–August), sturdy scapes carry pale lavender bell-shaped flowers that attract hummingbirds and pollinators. This vigorous, tetraploid sport of ‘Wolverine’ brings thicker leaves with good slug resistance, thriving in Zones 3–9 and tolerating shade to part sun.
