Iris sibirica - Caesar’s Brother
A classic Siberian iris, ‘Caesar’s Brother’ features deep velvety violet‑purple blooms with rich contrast, held on rigid stems that rise dramatically above narrow, grass-like foliage. Each tall, branching stalk bears several blooms in late June through July, creating a wave of rich color over the elegant, arching foliage. Its strong, upright leaves retain a blue‑green hue all season and form large clumps that naturalize well and suppress weeds. Hardy in Zones 3-9 depending on source, it thrives in moist to average soil, tolerates full sun to partial shade, and is naturally deer- and rabbit-resistant.
