Buttercrunch Lettuce produces excellent, medium green heads. This cool weather crop is the largest and most heat tolerant of the Butterhead lettuce types. Loose heads of crumpled leaves are crisp, thick, and juicy.

Plant in moist, well drained soil, as soon as ground can be worked. For earlier crop, start indoors 4-5 weeks before the last frost. Repeat at 2 week intervals until late Spring.
