Iris germanica - Immortality

A refined and top-performing tall‑bearded iris, Immortality produces pure white blooms with soft lemon‑yellow beards, all charmingly ruffled and emitting a sweet, persistent fragrance. This vigorous variety blooms in mid‑late spring, and often offers a second flush of flowers in late summer to early fall, making it one of the most reliable rebloomers available. With strong, well‑branched stems rising to around 29–30″ (72–76 cm), the elegant lightly glaucous foliage forms neat clumps that slowly spread through robust rhizomes. Deer‑ and rabbit‑resistant, drought‑tolerant once established, and exceptionally low‑maintenance, it thrives in full sun and well‑drained soil.
