Lady's Mantle - Alchemilla mollis

Alchemilla mollis, known as Lady’s Mantle, is a lush, herbaceous perennial beloved for its softly scalloped, velvety green foliage that elegantly mounds at the garden’s edge. In early to mid-summer, airy sprays of tiny chartreuse star-shaped flowers rise above the leaves, adding delicate texture and charm, while the foliage captures dew like droplets of light. Growing approximately 12–18 in (30–45 cm) tall and spreading to 18–24 in (45–60 cm), it thrives in full sun to partial shade and performs well in most soils, including those that are slightly acidic . This low-maintenance plant is deer- and rabbit-resistant, attracts butterflies, and serves beautifully as groundcover, edging, or for fresh and dried arrangements.
