SEED POTATOES - BINTJE

The variety Bintje Yellow features smooth pale‑yellow skin with creamy yellow flesh, forming large, thick, oval tubers with shallow eyes—an excellent choice for home gardeners aiming for both yield and versatility. This late‑season cultivar is high‑yielding, stores well thanks to its thick skin, and performs beautifully in a range of cooking methods including boiling, baking, frying and chipping. Developed in the Netherlands in the early 1900s and registered for Canadian production, it’s adapted to a wide range of conditions, making it a reliable option in Canadian gardens. Whether you’re harvesting for immediate use or storing for winter, Bintje Yellow delivers on performance and flavour.
