Veronicastrum - Red Arrow
Veronicastrum virginicum ‘Red Arrow’ is a tall, elegant perennial prized for its slender rosy-purple to reddish flower spikes held on dark red-purple stems. Blooming in midsummer, the upright flowers rise above distinctive whorls of narrow green leaves, creating strong vertical structure without a heavy appearance. Its nectar-rich blooms attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, making it an excellent addition to cottage gardens, naturalistic plantings, and the back of perennial borders. This hardy, clump-forming perennial performs best in full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil.
