Aster novae-angliae – Purple Dome

This charming New England Aster forms a compact, rounded mound (12–24″ tall, 12–18″ wide) of richly hued lavender‑purple, semi‑double daisy blooms with bright yellow centers. It flowers prolifically from late summer into fall, creating a stunning burst of color and a magnet for butterflies and bees. This native perennial is easy‑care and mildew‑resistant, thriving in moist but well‑drained soil under full sun. Deer tend to avoid it, making it a great choice for gardens seeking vibrant pollinator‑friendly plants without damage.
