Astilbe simplicifolia – Super Sprite

A charming dwarf astilbe cultivar, ‘Super Sprite’ forms a compact mound of dark-green, finely dissected foliage. In midsummer, it produces delicate shell-pink flower plumes atop bronzy-green stems, creating a soft, textured accent ideal for borders, containers, or woodland gardens. Reaching about 30 cm tall and wide, it’s perfect for edging and small spaces, thriving in moist, acidic, well-drained soil under partial to full shade. This hardy perennial is deer- and rabbit-resistant and attracts pollinators like butterflies, while its low-maintenance nature makes it a favorite among gardeners.
