Astilbe arendsii – Whiteberry

A neat, mound-forming white astilbe featuring bright white plume-like blooms that emerge on attractive reddish stems, held just above glossy, finely divided dark-green foliage. It matures around 20–30 cm (8–12″) tall and wide, making it perfect for edging, containers, or compact shade borders. Flowering from late spring into midsummer (~June–July), it reblooms lightly when spent flowers are removed and offers interest with caramel-colored seedpods afterward. Thrives in moist, rich, well-drained soil with partial to full shade; low-maintenance, deer-resistant, and beloved by pollinators.

  • 1 growing root per pack, 2-3 eyes
  • Compact mound habit
  • White plume blooms
