WILD NATIVE
A native Canadian gem, the “Wild Lowbush Blueberry” (Vaccinium angustifolium) brings dark‑blue, intensely sweet berries, a very compact growth habit and exceptional cold‑hardiness—making it an excellent choice for edible landscaping, ground‑cover or container use in cooler climates. This low‑bush blueberry features dense mats of glossy blue‑green foliage turning vivid maroon‑purple in fall, topped with bell‑shaped white to pink blossoms in spring and followed by sweet, dark‑blue berries in mid‑summer. It thrives in acidic, well‑drained soils and tolerates extremely cold temperatures (hardy to at least Zone 2). Perfect for small‑space edible gardens, naturalizing under trees, or even large patio containers.
