CHIPPEWA

Compact, ultra‑cold‑hardy and sweet‑fruited, the ‘Chippewa’ blueberry is a standout for Canadian gardens. This half‑high cultivar reaches about 3–4 ft in height, producing abundant sky‑blue berries with a firm texture and excellent flavour. Ripening in mid‑summer, it offers both edible delight and landscape appeal thanks to its attractive red‑orange fall foliage. Developed at the University of Minnesota for harsh climates, it thrives in well‑drained acidic soil and full sun to part shade.
