Dicentra formosa -Luxuriant

A lush, long-blooming bleeding heart variety, ‘Luxuriant’ produces deep cherry-red, heart-shaped flowers from late spring into fall. Its finely textured, fern-like gray-green foliage stays attractive all summer, unlike traditional bleeding hearts that often go dormant. Forming mounds 12–15″ tall and wide, it thrives in shaded gardens but also tolerates more sun with consistent moisture. Deer- and rabbit-resistant and a favourite of hummingbirds and pollinators, it’s perfect for woodland borders, mass plantings, or containers.

  • 1 growing root per pack, 4–8 eyes
  • Cherry-red heart blooms
  • Heat-tolerant & long blooming
  • Deer & rabbit resistant
  • Pollinator friendly
