Brunnera – Sea Heart

A captivating shade-loving perennial, ‘Sea Heart’ features thick, heart-shaped leaves with olive-green centers overlaid by luminous silver, pronounced dark veining, and bold green edges—offering a subtly glowing foliage display even in warm seasons. In mid to late spring, it produces upright sprays of delicate forget‑me‑not-style blooms that emerge white and blue, gradually maturing to soft lavender-purple for a multi-hued floral show. This compact cultivar reaches about 6–12″ tall, spreading 12–24″ wide in a tidy mound, and excels in part to full shade in moist, organically rich, well-drained soil. With excellent heat and humidity tolerance, low-maintenance growth, and deer/rabbit resistance, it’s ideal for woodland borders, containers, or as an eye-catching groundcover.
