A medium-sized drumhead shaped variety, with dark green, closely crimped or savoyed leaves. Solid, broad 9-10”/25cm heads, weighing in at 6-8lbs/2.7kg stand a long time. Excellent in hot or cold slaw. Withstands fall frosts better than other varieties and is reputed to be the best tasting of all types of cabbages.
