This exceptional hybrid is an extra-sweet, medium-sized melon that consistently produces beautiful 1.3 kg oval fruits. Inside, you will find thick, juicy orange flesh that is bursting with tropical flavour. It is an ideal home garden choice due to its good yields and built-in tolerance to common issues like Fusarium and Powdery Mildew.

What you need to know to Plant & Grow

Melons are heat-loving plants that require a long, warm season to fully mature their sweet fruit.

Sow Indoors: Start seeds indoors 3 to 4 weeks before the last expected frost date. Use biodegradable pots to minimise root disturbance during transplanting.

Sow Outdoors: In longer season climates, sow directly outdoors later May or early June.

Germination: Seed typically germinates in 7 to 10 days.

Transplanting: Move seedlings outdoors to a location with Full Sun and rich, well-drained soil only after all danger of frost has passed and the soil is thoroughly warm.

Planting Depth: 1.5 cm

Seed Spacing: 15 cm

Thin to: 30 cm

Row Width: 150 cm

Keep the soil consistently moist until fruit begins to ripen. When harvesting, look for the fruit to be ready when a gentle tug removes it from the vine—a sure sign of peak sweetness! Matures in approximately 76 days.
