Crocosmia – Babylon

Crocosmia ‘Babylon’ is a vibrant Montbretia hybrid that produces dramatic sprays of rich orange-red, star-shaped flowers with golden yellow throats edged in a darker ring, elevated on tall, graceful stems above bright green sword-like foliage. The flowers unfold from midsummer into early autumn, offering an extended display when many other perennials are fading. It forms a clumping, upright habit that adds vertical structure to perennial borders, cottage gardens, or mixed beds. This cultivar is also a pollinator magnet, especially attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies.
