Attractive, mounded plants bear large, flat flower heads in a variety of colors including white, pink, rose, red, deep violet and bicolours. The fragrant double flowers are borne from late spring to mid summer and are excellent for cutting. Use in borders, naturalized and in rock gardens. After flowering, remove spikes to encourage second blooming. Often self-sows under ideal conditions.
