TRUMPET LILY

A regal standout for attentive gardeners, African Queen is a trumpet‑lily variety boasting large, outward‑facing, trumpet‑shaped blooms in rich apricot‑orange with a subtle burgundy‑bronze reverse — topped off by a delightful sweet fragrance. These tall, elegant stems rise up (often 4–6 ft) delivering clusters of blooms that make a dramatic impact in the border or as cut flowers. Ideal for full sun or light shade, this lily enjoys well‑drained soil and offers reliable performance across Canadian gardens thanks to its excellent hardiness and heat‑tolerance. With such commanding presence and scent, it brings both elegance and bold colour to mixed beds, back borders or a cutting‑garden setting.
