Miscanthus sinensis – Little Miss

This charming dwarf cultivar offers elegant arching blades in a neat, compact mound of just 60–90 cm (2–3 ft), perfect for small gardens or container planting. In spring, foliage emerges bright green with a white midrib, then deepens into rich red and purple tones through summer and peak crimson in fall—while the central blades remain green for a striking two‑tone effect. In mid-to-late summer, airy reddish flower tassels appear, aging into buff‑colored seed heads that persist into winter, adding graceful texture. Hardy and fast-growing, it thrives in full sun to part shade, tolerates varied soils, and is deer- and disease-resistant.
