Phalaris arundinacea - Strawberries & Cream

A show-stopping variegated ribbon grass prized for its green and white-striped foliage gently blushed with pink in new spring growth—resembling literal strawberries and cream. Tall habit (60–90 cm / 24–36 in) and spreading form bring graceful vertical and horizontal structure to planting beds, with soft white summer flowers appearing atop the foliage in mid-season. This vigorous grass thrives in moist to wet soils, making it perfect for streamside borders, rain gardens, moist containers, or edging walkways. Naturally deer- and rabbit-resistant, with excellent adaptability to sun or part shade and tolerance of various soil types, it's a low-maintenance performer that also helps with slope stabilization and groundcover
