Hemerocallis - Double Pardon Me

A delightful twist on a classic, 'Double Pardon Me' features rich, velvety burgundy-red double flowers with up to 18 tepals—triple the usual—creating dramatic, ruffled blooms. This compact, dormant diploid forms neat mounds of arching foliage about 18″ tall and 18–24″ wide, flowering mid‑summer and reblooming later in the season. Notably fragrant and opening in the late afternoon, each bloom stays open through the evening into the next morning, perfect for enjoying during dusk garden visits. Tough and adaptable, it thrives in zones 3–9 in full to part sun, tolerates varied soils, heat, drought, salt, urban conditions, and resists rabbits, while drawing butterflies and hummingbirds.
