Hosta - Curly Fries

This playful and eye-catching hosta forms a compact mound of narrow, lance-shaped leaves with exceptionally crisp, rippled margins that undulate like curly fries. The foliage emerges a bright chartreuse in spring, maturing to a glowing golden-yellow in summer, especially when given a bit of morning sun for best color contrast. In early to mid-summer, delicate star‑like lavender bell flowers rise on deep‑purple scapes to about 40 cm tall, adding a charming accent above the foliage. Named 2016 Hosta of the Year, it's a hardy, low‑maintenance perennial that thrives in part to full shade and excels in containers, borders, or as a textural focal point.
