Hosta – Jurassic Park

This is a colossal, bold hosta cultivar prized for its massive, deeply corrugated green foliage that forms an imposing mound up to 4 ft tall and 6 ft wide. Each leaf can reach around 16″ by 14", thick and puckered with heavy substance that commands attention in a shaded border or woodland garden. In mid to late summer, tall scapes rise above the mound, bearing pale lavender blooms that persist and attract hummingbird. A vigorous grower with excellent disease resistance, ‘Jurassic Park’ thrives in moist, rich soil and bright shade, making a dramatic specimen or mass planting focal in Zones 3–9.
