Iris sibirica - Paprikash

A captivating Siberian iris, ‘Paprikash’ (also sold as Peacock Butterfly). This award-winning cultivar features pale apricot to creamy standards richly veined and stippled with red‑violet, paired with apricot falls heavily shaded in coppery-red, all centered on a vivid yellow signal that contrasts beautifully with lavender-pink style arms. The blooms open in mid to early summer on sturdy stems about 45–50 cm (18–20 in) tall above narrow, grass-like foliage that forms elegant clumps approximately 30–45 cm (12–18 in) wideHardy in USDA Zones 3–9, this iris thrives in moist to wet, humus-rich soils and is naturally deer- and rabbit-resistant, fragrant, and excellent for cut-flower displays.
