Chives are easy to grow and make a colorful, useful addition to any garden. The slender grasslike leaves have a delicate onion flavor and are used for flavoring soups, stews, dips, and salads. Plant with flowers, vegetables, or other herbs; use as an edging or in pots – indoors or out. Divide clumps every two years.
