Anemone - Sylvestris

Anemone sylvestris, commonly known as Snowdrop Anemone, is a graceful spring-blooming perennial with nodding, cup-shaped white flowers framed by a ring of bright yellow stamens atop slender stems. It forms a low mound of finely cut, deep green foliage which both complements spring bulbs and transitions beautifully into its fluffy seedheads follow bloom. This energetic spreader thrives in moist, well-drained soil under full sun or part shade and is easy to maintain. Deer- and rabbit-resistant, lightly fragrant, and excellent as cut flowers or natural groundcover, it's perfect for woodland and border plantings.
