Leymus – Blue Dune

Also known as Blue Lyme Grass or Blue Dune Lyme Grass, Leymus arenarius ‘Blue Dune’ is a striking ornamental grass prized for its silvery-blue to steel-blue foliage and bold architectural form. It spreads by rhizomes, forming broad, textured clumps that provide visual interest and erosion control where needed. In late spring to summer, it sends up upright flowering stalks that mature to buff tones, adding vertical contrast to its dense foliage. Its cool-season growth habit and salt/drought tolerance make it suitable for challenging sites such as coastal gardens, slopes, and dry borders.
