A stunning woodland perennial, โBlackโฏNegligeeโ features fine, purple-black, lacy foliage that creates striking contrast in shady areas. From late summer to early fall, it produces elegant, fragrant spires of creamy-white to softly pink-tinted bottlebrush flowers atop dark stems. Thriving in moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil in part shade to full shade (and even tolerating some sun with sufficient moisture), it's an ideal specimen or background plant for wooded borders and shady cottage gardens.
