Hosta ‘Island Breeze’ (PP27151) is a small but impactful hosta prized for its vibrant, tropical-style foliage. Its bright yellow leaf centers, outlined by broad dark green margins, and vivid red speckled petioles create eye-catching contrast from spring through summer. As the season progresses, the centers may shift to chartreuse in shady spots or lighten to pale yellow in sunnier locations. In midsummer, it sends up slender reddish‑green scapes (about 28 in tall) bearing lavender-purple bell-shaped flowers that attract hummingbirds and butterflies.
