Papaver orientale - Turkenlouis

Papaver orientale 'Turkenlouis' is a showy Oriental poppy celebrated for its fiery red, deeply fringed, satiny blooms that contrast strikingly with dark, velvety centers. The cup-shaped flowers appear in late spring to early summer atop tall, upright stems, set against a backdrop of coarse, fuzzy gray‑green foliage. A dramatic garden presence, it’s beloved for its vivid color, architectural form, and enduring cut-flower appeal.
