Sugar and Spice Sweet Peas have beautiful and fragrant blooms. Flowers will grow in a variety of stunning shades including bicolor and white. Naturally neat and compact, there is no need for pinching.

Direct seed outdoors as soon as soil can be worked. Or start indoors 4 to 6 weeks earlier for transplanting. In mild climates, seeds can be sown outside in fall for late winter/early spring blooms. Soak seeds 24 hours before planting. Remove faded flowers to prolong bloom. Thrives in cool weather.

Water regularly – sweet peas do best when they have cool, moist roots.
Pick sweet peas for a beautiful bouquet when the buds at the tip of the flower clusters are not yet open.

Picking for bouquets, removing faded blooms and seedpods will have plants continually producing beautiful flowers all season long.
To speed germination, soak seed in warm water overnight before planting.
