Anethum graveolens
Dill is very easy to grow and a must for all herb gardens. The tall plants are topped with clusters of tiny yellow flowers on the tips of an array of central stems. Seeds and leaves are perfect for use as a flavoring for fish, stews, vegetables, poultry, pickles, and salads.
Approx. 425-450 seeds
Sow seed directly into the garden once danger of frost has passed. Prefers moist, well drained soil and should be protected from wind if possible. Stagger the planting every 2-3 weeks from May-July. Protect from wind if possible.

The fern-like leaves are very small but should be gathered for freezing and drying.
