Abundant, small, orange fruit enclosed in papery lanterns present on bushy plants. Ready for harvest when the fruit drops to the ground (hence the name "ground" cherry) and their papery lanterns are a beige colour.ย Benefits from starting indoors. Seed from a small organic farm in Quebec.ย
