Tradescantia – Sunshine Charm

A vibrant spiderwort cultivar celebrated for its luminous golden-yellow foliage that remains brilliant even in full sun, creating vivid contrast to its delicate lavender-pink blooms. Upright, grassy clumps reach about 50 cm (20 in) tall and 40–45 cm (16–18 in) wide, maintaining a compact, tidy habit throughout the growing season. From late spring through mid–late summer and into early fall (May to September), clusters of mauve-purple flowers appear above the foliage, with the ability to rebloom if trimmed back after flowering. Exceptionally easy to grow, this vigorous cultivar thrives in moist, well‑drained rich soil, tolerates average moisture, resists heat and verticillium wilt, and attracts butterflies while being mostly deer‑resistant.
