JUNE BEARING STRAWBERRIES - HONEOYE

This vigorous June‑bearing variety produces large, firm, bright red berries with a sweet and aromatic flavour, ideal for fresh eating, freezing or making preserves. It forms a hardy mat of dark green foliage, and excels in cooler climates thanks to its exceptional winter hardiness. Harvest typically takes place early to mid summer, making it a strong choice for Canadian gardens around zones 3–8. With a reputation for heavy yields and consistent performance, it’s a top pick for both home growers and U‑pick operations.

Honeoye Strawberry

"Ordered 2 sets and came towards end of April when soil is still frozen in Alberta. All survived and already picked some fruits (although still smaller) on its first season. Thank you Wildwood!"

Half of them were okay

"Half of them were okay the other half didn’t survive for whatever reason. Planted them in hopes they would come back but so far nothing."

Strawberries,

"When I received the strawberry plants I opened the package and sorted the plants and planted them in 3 inch pots for future transplanting, however only half of the plants I bought took root , many of the plant roots were too dry and still did not take even though I had soaked them.no fruit as yet, maybe next year."

Maria H. (5/5)

"Good quality plants. They were planted into a raised bed the day after arriving and all plants have new growth"

Erin (5/5)

Very disappointing!

"Purchased June - and Everbearing strawberries (10 of each). More than 1/2 of Honeoye June bearing arrived dead and completely dried out. Despite following instructions to the letter, and giving them extra time soaking before planting, they were irretrievable. I won’t purchase from you againšŸ™"
