"Planted some the Autumn Crocus bulbs, and they look fine: Hope they come up next year. . . . . wasn't sure when to plant them? but i also ordered a Rose bush at the same time; it hasn't arrived yet."

"These hardy Cartwrightianus are the only blooms in our garden just now (November). Last week they were covered in 6” of snow and are still blooming following the snowmelt!"

"I’m leaving a similar comment and rating on a lot of things… I don’t want to drag the ratings down too far, but I admit - I’m disappointed. I bought my bulbs late last season (November), and potted them towards the end of December. I set the (large) pots out on a very mild day and allowed them to chill slowly, on the edge of a covered patio so they would pile up with insulating snow but remain sheltered. Of the dozen-ish varieties of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, iris and others, I saw four tulips, three hyacinths, one (tiger) iris and a handful of daffodils. These Cartwrightianus Crocus haven’t come up at all. Maybe it was the late planting, they were too suddenly chilled, or they got moisture too soon? I don’t know. The bulbs looked healthy, and the photos look gorgeous!!"
