Brassica oleracea
Delectable tasting broccoli heads are packed with vitamins and health boosting qualities. After harvesting the main head, numerous medium sized lateral heads will form for harvest later in the season. Great eaten raw or steamed, and suitable for freezing.

Growing Instructions:
Choose a rich, moist soil with plenty of organic matter. Time your plantings to mature while weather is cool; usually late spring or fall. Start indoors 6 weeks before the last frost date. Transplant outdoors 2 weeks before last frost. Sow in mid-summer for a fall crop or late fall in mild climates. Sow seeds 6mm (1/4in) deep and 60cm (24in) apart in rows spaced 76cm (30in) apart.
