Latuca sativa
Eye-catching burgundy red, deeply lobed leaves displayed in a full rosette. Matures early and is quite tender and sweet tasting. This variety is best grown in early Spring or late Summer, as the cool nights are beneficial for a top quality harvest.

Growing Instructions:
Lettuce prefers cool weather and full sun. In early Spring, sow seed 3mm (1/8in) deep and 20cm (8in) apart in rows spaced 45cm (18in) apart. An even supply of moisture during the entire growth period is imperative for success. Once lettuce bolts, leaves become bitter.All orders over $150 before taxes receive free shipping!
