PINBALL WIZARD

  • Mid Spring to Early Summer Flowering
  • 1 Pack
  • Long-Lasting fragrant flowers
  • 6-8 Inch Sphere of Blooms
  • Great cut flowers
  • Zone 4

Allium “Pinball Wizard” has a large spherical head made up of many small silvery purple star-shaped florets that will light up your garden with floral fireworks! This variety is similar to allium “Globemaster” but is shorter than it by about 10”, though it is just as dazzling. “Pinball Wizard” grows to a height of about 24” with blooms measuring between 6 to 8” in diameter. Plant in autumn (Sept-Dec) for spring (May - June) bloom boom. Plant bulbs 6” deep and with approximately 12” of space between each one. Loves rich soil and full sun, but can tolerate partial shade. Does not require much water although it should be planted in well-draining soil. Be cautioned that alliums are poisonous if eaten by your pets. “Pinball Wizard’s” seed heads remain attractive long after the flowers fade, but since it is a perennial you can anticipate its return year after year!
