TALL MIX

  • Late Spring Flowering
  • 20 Pack
  • Great cut flowers
  • Zone 4

This pretty allium variety mix includes Allium “Mars”, Allium “Purple Sensation”, and Allium “Mt. Everest”. The soft violets of “Mars” and “Purple Sensation” are complemented well by the sparkling white of “Mt. Everest”. Each variety can grow to a maximum height of approximately 36”, with globe-shaped blooms 6” in diameter, for planting in the fall months (Sept-Dec) in preparation for late spring (May - June) bloom. In moderately dry, well-draining soil, plant the bulbs at a depth of 6” leaving approximately 12” between each bulb. All varieties are perennial and grow best in hardiness zone 4, but are also suitable for zones 5 through 9. This easy-to-grow mix prefers full or partial sun and is resistant to deer, however, note that alliums are poisonous if ingested by pets. A satisfying mix of alliums that is great for naturalizing and landscaping!
