Asclepias tuberosa - Hello Yellow

A cheerful, golden-yellow cultivar of butterfly weed, ‘Hello Yellow’ forms sturdy, upright clumps around 2 ft tall and wide (24 in/61 cm) with clusters of fragrant, nectar-rich blossoms from early summer through late summer. These long-lasting umbels are magnets for butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds, while its deep taproot ensures drought-tolerance and easy care. After blooming, attractive seed pods develop, ideal for fresh or dried floral arrangements. This cultivar is deer- and rabbit-resistant, thrives in full sun, and suits butterfly gardens, borders, and mass plantings beautifully.
