Astilbe arendsii – Fireberry
A charming compact hybrid from the Short ’n Sweet series, Astilbe ‘Fireberry’ displays vibrant hot raspberry-pink, conical plumes atop dense, mid-green ferny foliage. With a mature height of around 30–40 cm (12–16″) and a spread of 30–40 cm, it offers a petite yet striking presence ideal for shaded borders, rock gardens, or container planting. Bursting with flowers in early to mid-summer (June–July), its blooms are long-lasting, excellent for both fresh and dried arrangements, and its foliage adds year-round texture. Moisture-loving, low maintenance, and naturally deer- and rabbit-resistant, this variety is also a butterfly magnet—perfect for small garden spaces.
