Astilbe japonica – Go Go Red
A remarkable Japanese astilbe hybrid producing vibrant ruby-red plumes in early summer and again in fall, extending color through first frost. Glossy emerald-green foliage forms a neat, compact mound about 23–27 in tall and 14–16 in wide, perfect for shaded borders, containers, or woodland edges. Exceptionally garden-hardy and reblooming, it thrives in moist, humus-rich soil with morning sun to afternoon shade. Deer- and rabbit-resistant, pollinator-friendly, and great for both fresh cut and dried arrangements.
