Chinese Astilbe - Purple Rain

Bright lavender‑magenta plumes rise on tall, slender stems above dense, fern‑like deep green foliage from mid to late summer. This vigorous Chinese astilbe forms elegant 45–55 cm tall clumps with a 45–60 cm spread, making it a striking yet refined focal in shady borders or containers. It thrives in moist, humus-rich soil with regular watering and part to full shade, attracting bees and butterflies while being largely deer- and rabbit-resistant. Low-maintenance and excellent for cutting, it's perfect for gardeners seeking long-lasting colour and texture in shaded areas.

  • 1 growing root per pack, 2-3 eyes
  • Lavender‑magenta plume blooms
  • Dense fern‑like foliage
  • Deer‑ and rabbit‑resistant
