An ideal bean for areas with a cool climate or short season. Plant grows 3-4’(90-120cm) tall,
producing showy purple and white flowers and large plump pods. Serve cooked with butter,
steamed or pureed. Also makes an excellent dry bean. Freezes well. Sow directly in the garden in early spring in most areas; mid-fall in mild winter areas.
